July 4th—the day the United States celebrates our independence from England. FREEDOM. Funny thing is, many Americans MAY know July 4th as Independence Day, but few remember England’s connection. As parents, if our kids don’t know the significance of the Fourth of July, that’s our fault. Even more important than knowing historic dates, they need to know Bible stories—stories that teach great biblical truths. Unfortunately, many of us are relying on our local churches to teach these lessons. DON’T. If you need help, get a Keys for Kids devotional.
